In 1935, the founding family passed the brand to entrepreneur Willy Burkhard von Wilhelm. The company relocated to Barcelona, Spain, during World War II under the direction of Adolf Hoffmann. In 1975, entrepreneur Georges Uhlmann, a prominent figure in the Spanish, French, and Italian markets, acquired the company.
